World Water Forum 2003
After years of preparation and especially a stressful last month, we went to Japan. What's the purpose of our presence in Kyoto, Japan? Today is the start of the 3rd World Water Forum, a major international forum on all aspects of water. During this forum international experiences and actions related with improvement of water use will be exchanged. Celeste Reijnen, Véronique Dessing and Edwin Koning of the World Wide Water Awareness project represent Junior Chambers International (JCI). This project started 7 years ago to create awareness of the scarcity of fresh water. During this forum we will present the results of the international water-actions of Junior Chambers. In the next week we will write a diary with our experiences of the World Water Forum.
